For the music in my piece I am aiming to have something that is played on the piano and denotes the type of music that is used in ballet practice. A friend, Dale Wharton, created the following piece for me as a test as to how my music might sound.
It was created with uncopyrighted sounds as well as the sound of me knocking on the floor with my knuckles to sound like a pointe shoe tapping the ground along with a metronome. Overall I like the sound of the music and the sound of the tapping and metronome and believe it fits together quite well. I wouldnt use the same type of tune however.
